The “PALLET SYSTEM” concept
Achieving optimal machining results requires determining just the right tools and conditions for each part.
Ordinarily, employing compound processing machinery requires adaptation to the machinery’s specifications.
At EGURO, we draw on our expertise with gang-type lathes to select special units for toolposts, enabling customers to achieve the best possible results — just as beautiful paintings are created by applying paint carefully selected from the palette to the canvas.
Spherical surface processing unit(Y-axis servo specification for easy adjustment of ball dimensions)
Achieve the ultimate sphericity through bit rotation
- – Servo motor control of the rotation axis enables uniformity and consistency of the cutting feed. In addition, the cutting point of the bit always remains in the same position, resulting in stable finishing.
- – Processing can be performed with uniform feeding along spherical surfaces at all times.
- – Also available: BTA-I J model featuring manual adjustment of sphere dimensions
Compound processing: Turning and grinding
Mounting a grinding unit on the slide enables hard turning: turning plus grinding. Depending on the grinding location, selecting an outside diameter (OD) or inner diameter (ID) grinding unit can shorten machining processes.
An optional circular attachment with NC control is also available to enable processing at any angle.
Sub-spindle and sub-slide units
Mounting a sub-spindle unit on the slide and a sub-slide next to the spindle enables consistent frontside and backside processing.
MS-Series and digital backstop
Options include the MS-Series, which feeds up to 1-m bar stock from the rear of the spindle, and a positioning stopper that feeds material from the rear of the spindle and determines the total length.
